| The
stones I use are collected along the Moray Coast in the
Highlands of Scotland. The designs are drawn freehand, painted
with acrylic paints and coated with marine grade varnish to
protect them.
Each stone is totally unique, firstly because no two stones are the same and although I can duplicate the design, I can not draw and paint it exactly the same each time. The Celtic Designs are traditional, and most are taken from the Book of Kells, Lindisfarne, Book of Durrow and other historic sites, though a couple are my own designs. Each stone comes with it's own 100% natural cotton bag with tartan ribbon tie. These make great decorative items, use them as paperweights, on bookcases, window sills, patios, or anywhere your heart desires. Please click on the photo to view available designs.
